The National Grassroots Broadcasting Network (NGBN) has selected Carson City Nevada as it’s flagship location for it’s new national multi-channel streaming platform. The new platform will be named “CarsonCityNV.tv.
“There a number of compelling reasons for choosing Carson City and the Capital region of Nevada, it has a strong economy, growing arts and live music scene. It also has a strong historical significance. It is the exact type of community that NGBN was built for!” said Ian Hill Co-Founder of NGBN.
CarsonCitynv.tv will provide Carson City and the Capital region a platform for original local content, from music and entertainment to sports and news. both live and on-demand . Carsoncitynv,tv will be available on RokuTV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Android TV as well its own mobile apps and the world wide web. CarsonCitynv.tv will also have it’s own more traditional linear broadcast like channel that broadcasts 24 hours a day.
According to Jeff Dudley, web developer on the project, Carsoncitynv.tv will be selecting it’s broadcast location and production studio in mid June. Jeff indicates “we hope to have our local partner selected by mid July”.
